This last weekend we once again hosted a meet up of Van der Spek Planner fans at our factory here in Puttershoek.
Ten people came from different parts of Europe to meet the team and the Van der Spek family. A few of the people had visited before, so clearly they like visiting Van der Spek!
Steve from Philofaxy had helped organise all the people and made sure everyone knew where they were going. We had a ‘getting to know you’ event on the Friday evening before everyone arrived at the factory on Saturday morning.
After some introductions we went in to our prepared presentations. We also had some announcements to make.
The new Touch Me leather colour range has been very successful since its introduction late last year. So we wanted to consider what new colours to order for the end of this year. Given the lead times on the supply of leather from France and the manufacturing time of the items we needed to get started about now.
The people attending the meet up did a simple poll to pick out their top 10 favourite colours. The people on the Van der Spek Facebook Group are now voting on those 10 colours and we will select from the ones with the highest votes.
Later on Steve introduced the new Nomad Wallet Accessory, this will be a useful new addition to our range of items which can be bought from our custom range of leather products.
